THE ROAD WAS THE START
Before the music career took off, Marty spent long hours working on the road. Those journeys gave him time to write, reflect and develop the songs that would eventually connect with fans across Ireland and far beyond.
WRITING, RECORDING, DOING IT HIS WAY
Marty built his career independently from his home studio, The Plot Cottage Studio. Writing, recording and producing his own material allowed him to stay true to his sound and build a direct connection with his audience.
HIT THE DIFF — THE BREAKTHROUGH
Released in December 2014, Hit The Diff introduced Marty Mone to audiences across Ireland and the UK. Written, recorded and produced by Marty, with a video he filmed and edited himself, the song became the breakthrough that launched his independent music career.
